this site, a project that's always in progress, serves as an alternative to social media, which only stimulates comparison and compulsive shopping.

i want to share the things i like and make and i want to have fun coding.

don't mind the mess, i'm self-taught and i still have a lot to learn! i've tried making it easy to navigate on mobile since most people access the internet on a cell phone, but it looks better if you're able to view it on a computer (i'm working on this though).

the name means "gay pigeon", it's a username i've had for years so some people refer to me either as "pombo" or "pombogay".

the site is in portuguese
because i want to:

• communicate freely in my native language
• encourage my brazilian friends to make a neocities
• work on my english ~> portuguese translation skills
• see more personal sites in brazilian portuguese

even if you don't understand what i'm saying there's still cool stuff to look at, such as my art, image-heavy shrines, a couple of 2000s brazilian magazine scans, vintage stationary, toys, plushies and graphics i've collected.

and of course, i'd love to make friends with people from other parts of the world too so let's follow each other here or on tumblr / the fediverse!

esse site, um projeto sempre em andamento, serve como uma alternativa às redes sociais, que só estimulam a comparação e as compras compulsivas.

quero compartilhar as coisas que gosto e faço e me divertir programando.

não repare na bagunça, sou autodidata e ainda tenho muito o que aprender! eu tentei facilitar a navegação no celular porque a maioria das pessoas acessa a internet em um celular, só fica mais bonitinho se você puder visualizar num computador (mas eu estou trabalhando pra melhorar isso).

o site é em português
porque eu quero:

• me comunicar livremente na minha língua nativa
• estimular meus amigos a criarem um neocities
• praticar minhas habilidades de tradução do inglês pro português
• ver mais sites pessoais em português brasileiro

"shrines" (página dedicada a algo que você gosta) ficou traduzido como "altares" e minha coleção de diferentes gifs e pixels "adotados" de sites de outros artistas como "mimos" (essa ideia eu roubei do meu amigo niê).

aqui você também encontra: minha arte, alguns scans de revistas dos anos 2000 e de papel de carta vintage e minha coleção de pelúcias, brinquedos, figures etc.
